offers free coaching classes for the children who are going to school by assisting them in completing their homework and enhancing their hidden skills and talents. People from different walks of life including volunteers and seniors citizens have joined our initiative conferring them with equal opportunity for molding their future. This feature has embarked in ensuring that children belonging to poor families are not neglected of proper education due to lack of financial resources. We have even achieved the target of reducing school dropout ratio with this move.

a part of their day-to-day expenses while pursuing higher studies.
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It provides opportunity to the student youth of 11th & 12th Class of schools at +2 Board level and student youth of Technical Institution, Graduate & Post Graduate at colleges and University level of India to take part in various government led community service activities & programmes.The sole aim of the NSS is to provide hands on experience to young students in delivering community service.
Here is the opportunity for students to take part in the college tours which are sponsored by the College Center. tour which departs directly after the last winter exam in February.
The goal of these tours is to help students learn about the various types of institutions available to them, to help them learn more about what it is like to be a college student, to learn what they like and do not like about certain types of schools, and to begin to take the year-long college application process seriously. Members of the College Counseling staff and other faculty members accompany between forty and sixty-five students on these trips, which usually involve a tour of the campuses, information sessions with admissions officers, and personal meetings with Stevenson alumni who are currently on the campuses. The majority of the group travels by bus, but there are side trips by vans to alternative sites for smaller groups of interested students. We stay in very nice hotels, but there is often not enough time to enjoy the accommodations since the day is highly structured with multiple college visitations each day.
It gives the students a chance to enhance their knowledge of various national and international events of the world. General Knowledge or GK plays a major role in every students’ life as most of the competitive exams ask various questions based on general knowledge.
These activities, during college life, keep you positive, fresh, energetic and go a long way in making you more productive. Not only do they lighten your mood, but they also help in shaping your overall personality and interpersonal skills.
